Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") defines acceptable and unacceptable uses of the Afghan Geeks Learning Management System ("Platform"). This Policy protects the Platform, its users, and Afghan Geeks Education from illegal or harmful activities.
Violation of this Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
1. Permitted Uses
The Platform may be used only for:
✓ Educational activities: Accessing courses, completing assignments, participating in learning activities
✓ Instructional purposes: Creating and delivering educational content, grading, student support
✓ Administrative functions: Managing users, courses, and Platform operations (authorized personnel only)
✓ Communication: Professional discussions related to courses and learning
2. Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Violating any local, national, or international laws
- Copyright infringement or intellectual property theft
- Sharing pirated software, media, or materials
- Facilitating illegal transactions or activities
- Accessing or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Stalking, harassment, or threats of violence
2.2 Harmful Content
- Uploading malware, viruses, trojan horses, or other malicious code
- Distributing ransomware or spyware
- Phishing or social engineering attacks
- Content promoting violence, terrorism, or extremism
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Hate speech or content inciting discrimination or violence against protected groups
2.3 Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Platform systems, accounts, or data
- Circumventing security measures or access controls
- Exploiting vulnerabilities without authorization (see responsible disclosure policy)
- Conducting security testing without prior written permission
- Using brute force attacks, password cracking, or similar techniques
- Intercepting or monitoring network traffic without authorization
2.4 Data Violations
- Scraping or extracting data through automated means
- Collecting personally identifiable information (PII) without consent
- Sharing student or user data outside authorized educational purposes
- Selling or commercializing Platform data
- Violating GDPR or other data protection regulations
2.5 Platform Abuse
- Creating fake or impersonation accounts
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Spamming users or flooding systems
- Denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
- Excessive automated requests that degrade Platform performance
- Reverse engineering or decompiling Platform code
2.6 Academic Dishonesty
- Plagiarism or submitting work created by others
- Sharing graded assignments or test answers
- Using unauthorized resources during assessments
- Impersonating another student during exams
- Selling or purchasing academic work
2.7 Commercial Misuse
- Using the Platform for commercial advertising or solicitation (unless explicitly authorized)
- Operating a business through Platform resources
- Selling access to Platform content or features
- Cryptocurrency mining using Platform resources
2.8 Inappropriate Content
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Obscene, offensive, or inappropriate language targeting individuals
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Content violating others' privacy or dignity
3. Resource Usage Limits
To ensure fair access for all users, the following limits apply:
File uploads:
- Maximum file size: 100 MB per file
- Maximum total storage per user: 5 GB
API requests:
- Rate limiting may be applied to prevent abuse
Concurrent sessions:
- Users may maintain one active session per account
Exceeding these limits without authorization may result in throttling or temporary suspension.
4. Reporting Violations
All users are required to report suspected violations of this Policy.

- Include: Description of violation, evidence, date/time
Urgent security threats (malware, active attacks, data breaches) must be reported immediately.
5. Consequences of Violations
Violations will be addressed based on severity:
Minor violations:
- Warning
- Temporary restriction of features
- Required training or re-education
Serious violations:
- Account suspension (7-30 days)
- Removal from courses
- Academic penalties
Severe violations:
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to law enforcement (for illegal activities)
- Legal action for damages
Afghan Geeks Education reserves the right to take immediate action without prior warning for severe violations that threaten Platform security or user safety.
6. Responsible Disclosure of Security Vulnerabilities
Security researchers are encouraged to report vulnerabilities responsibly:
- Contact us privately at info@afghangeeks.com with subject "Security Vulnerability Report"
- Do not publicly disclose the vulnerability until we have had time to address it
- Provide details: Steps to reproduce, potential impact, suggested fixes
- Allow reasonable time for remediation (typically 90 days)
We will:
- Acknowledge your report within 3 business days
- Work with you to understand and fix the issue
- Credit you for responsible disclosure (if desired)
- Not pursue legal action against researchers who follow this process
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
Afghan Geeks Education reserves the right to:
- Monitor Platform usage for compliance with this Policy
- Investigate suspected violations
- Temporarily suspend accounts pending investigation
- Cooperate with law enforcement in cases of illegal activity
- Preserve evidence of violations
We do not actively monitor the content of private student-instructor communications, but may review them if a violation is reported.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or Platform announcement. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
